IN THEORY THURSDAY: Proofreading. Do it again!

You spent hundreds of hours poring over wedding magazines and invitation samples and you found the most gorgeous invitation for your special day!  Even your groom and your mom think so!

You rip into the box when it arrives because you cannot wait to see the complete invitation!  Then what?  OMG!!!  The time is wrong or his middle name is misspelled or the address on the parking garage is incorrect.  Oh SH*T!

We hear this all the time.  A groom said to us: “I think that’s what happens when you look at something too much.  I swear I have looked at this spreadsheet at least a million times looking for any and all possible errors!”  Guess what was misspelled?  Chicago.

It is incredibly important that you have MANY different sets of eyes looking at all the important parts of the invitation.  When you think everything is perfect, do it again.  Have one more person look it over.  They will see something you didn’t and you will be glad that you took the time to do it again!

In theory, proofreading should be a simple exercise but, in reality, do it again!
