Budget Bear: Final Price of Dream Dress

Mommy will be picking up her dress the week of the wedding. With the alterations complete, I finally have a grand total for the dress! Mommy was able to save a lot of costs by using gift cards.

Here is what happened…
She had saved rewards from work and credit card points in order to redeem over $1,500 of gift cards to Macy’s. She was able to apply them to the cost of her dress, beaded belt, sash and cover the alterations.

So far we have been really pleased with the service at Macy’s. The alterations were perfect and we can’t wait!

Budgeted Dress Price with Alterations: $1,500
Total Cost (after discounts) with Alterations: $2,805.28
Gift Card: $1,576.62
Total Price Paid: $1,228.66
