TIP TUESDAY: Trolleys & Cleanliness

We shared with you earlier today why we are not fans of trolleys for a mode of wedding transporation.  Clearly, weather is a MAJOR factor in this TIP TUESDAY advice.  But another piece of advice:  what you consider clean and what the trolley company considers clean are two VERY different levels of cleanliness!

Dirty Wedding Gown ~ EWWWW!!!! (Photo by Bolton Reuter Photography)

While not a neat freak, we do like clean.  Especially, we like our brides to make it to the ceremony with the most pristine gown we possibly can.

Guess who rented out your trolley the night before?  Yup!  A crazy drunk group of girls celebrating a bride’s bachelorette party.  Yup!  There were shots.  Yup!  There was spillage.  Yup!  There might have been other yucky things landing on the floor and seats and walls of the trolley.

Sure!  The trolley company does clean up as well as they can but it is not your momma’s clean.

Our suggestion?  Bring a clean sheet for the bride to drape over her seat so she at least is not sitting in the mess with her $6,000 couture Vera Wang wedding gown!!!
