I can’t believe how much has happened since my last article! We’ve really got the wheels moving on our wedding planning now. I was spurred on by a beautiful wedding we went to last week – it was such a relaxed and fun day which is exactly how we want our day to be. The bride wore THE most beautiful dress I have seen to date. I definitely had dress envy!

Happy New Year! Finally, I can say… “I am getting married next year!” I think that was the first thing I said to Mr J after Big Ben struck midnight. We had a gorgeous, quiet family Christmas (our second one together) and enjoyed lots of quality time just the two of us (mainly due to the fact I was really ill).

I can’t believe how close we are to Christmas now! I am so excited. We’re spending Christmas with Mr. J’s family this year (it will be our second Christmas together!!). I think I’m more so excited about Christmas this year as it is our first one as an engaged couple, which meant I got to buy him a fiance Christmas card (it’s the small things that keep me happy!). We decided that this year, we will go buy presents together in the sales after Christmas as we’re saving so much for the wedding right now. It also gives us something to look forward to after everything is over.

I have had one of the loveliest weekends. It all kicked off superbly on Friday when I drove to my friend’s house straight after work. A few of us made the journey to hers to have a gorgeous girly night in. We spent the night drinking, eating and talking until 5:00 a.m. I absolutely loved it.

Since my first article on theBrideScoop, we have celebrated a BIG anniversary in our house! It has been one year since we brought out little fur baby home! I have to say that apart from deciding to get married, getting our little baby has been THE best decision we have made as a couple. We celebrated by completely spoiling him. It is safe to say that my baby is a little fatter this week (the dog, not Mr J!!), although very much loved!
