2 days to go! WOW! Time has FLOWN by – we feel like it was only yesterday that we sat down with Claudia (our awesome wedding planner) and spoke about our “vision” – we are about to see that vision come to life on Friday and it is so surreal to think that it is finally here.

9 days and counting….
NINE DAYS??????????????? WHAT?!?!?!?!?! This is officially the second to last article before the big day!!!!!!! What is going on here????? A good friend of ours was talking to us last year around this time saying that before we know it we will be counting down in single digits… that was the first time someone said something like that and we actually remembered it! Nine days and then it is go time.

16 days and counting….
16 days to go…. How did this happen? It is sneaking up on us so quickly and yet again, we have taken a week off of writing because of more bad news. Dr. Tim has been through quite a year. Between the crime against him in October to his Mother informing us that she will not be attending our wedding due to her religious beliefs and now the news that Tim received on July 27 - his Father had died.

30 days and counting….
ONE MONTH TO GO!!! WOW! These past two weeks have brought a lot of fun and excitement – Dr. Tim had his bachelor party and we had our final “one month out” meeting with our wonderful planner Claudia! One month to go and we have been informed that we are “in good shape” – that is VERY refreshing to hear! We both feel like we are in good shape, so that’s even better – everything is ready to go – we just have to pay for it all (which is never any fun!).

Well, another week goes by and another big event happened! Saturday was CJ’s bachelor party! To say it was a great time is an understatement! It’s nice to actually be able to write about it because there is NOTHING that needs to be kept secret – which I guess makes it sound like it was really boring. Not quite!

Traveling for me is a nightmare. I hate flying. Period. It takes me WEEKS to prepare myself to get on a plane and once the night before hits, I am literally shaking in fear. Yes, it’s THAT bad. Xanax does nothing for me. Xanax with a couple of glasses of wine MILDLY calms my nerves. If it were legal and if I was a multi-millionaire, I would hire an anesthesiologist to fly next to me so I could be out before take-off and come to after the plane was safely at the gate.

Last week was great! We had an amazing weekend and then on Sunday was our wedding shower! We couldn’t believe that it was already here! CJ’s Mother did the most amazing job of planning this – there was not one thing out of place, it was perfect!

SHOWER TIME! No, not literally…. we keep ourselves clean… but this Sunday is the kick-off of pre-wedding events! Our wedding shower will be this Sunday and we couldn’t be more excited! Yes, it is always fun to have a party in your honor but we are more excited about seeing people that we haven’t seen since the engagement party last September! It’s always great to see those people in your life that we don’t get to see too often and re-connect all in one big group; it’s going to be a blast!

Time is flying by – only 85 days to go and events are starting to line up for the summer! A wedding shower is approaching quickly, bachelor parties will be here soon (YIKES!) and we had our “engagement photo shoot” with our kick ass photographer Kevin Weinstein!

100 days and counting….
HERE WE GO! 100 days to go! WOWZA! We can’t believe it! This week is filled with some fun stuff. Tonight is tuxedo night – time to pick out the clothes for the guys! Even though it won’t take long, it is nice to get it off the list and then on to other things. Claudia sent us a list of what was left to be done and we are RIGHT on track…. it made us feel like we have accomplished something! (Always good!)
