Famous celebrity photographer Terry Richardson took this photo of Lady Gaga last night.
So we have to ask… just publicity or real engagement?
it's a big, bridal world out there. start here.
As Editor-in-Chief of theBrideScoop, I get to hand out assignments, create fun days of collaborative writing for our writers and read everything that is submitted! So when we get to share a whole day of one topic with our readers, I think you see us at our best. I always have an opinion and sometimes I disagree with an article but I weigh that with what I think needs to be said about weddings and brides and whatnot. But here are MY opinions – loves and dislikes - about the Royal Wedding… one year and one day later!
Everyone is talking about Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s recent engagement news and how gorgeous her designer engagement ring is. But did Angelina get the “best” engagement ring from Brad?

Angelina Jolie has a sparkly new accessory on her left hand… is it an engagement ring?!?!
Our resident wedding cynic, David Himmel, is getting married!
No, no… of course not. However, he wanted to share this with you. This is how his friend Sarah does save the dates.
Pretty badass, right?
It was reported in January that Justin Timberlake asked Jessica Biel for her hand in marriage. Unfortunately, there has been no confirmation from either party or their publicists so we have not published a CONGRATS! for them. From the stunner on her left hand ring finger, Jessica looks like she is engaged!
What do you think of Jessica Biel’s engagement ring?
Belated CONGRATS! We wish you a lifetime of happiness!
Unless you have been under a rock for the last couple of years, you have unfortunately had some exposure to Snooki – reality tv person and HOT MESS (as Chelsea Handler would say). And the Mayans might be correct about the world ending in 2012 because Snooki is both pregnant AND engaged!
YAY!! Mommy dragged Daddy to the Crate & Barrel Registry party this weekend at Oak Brook Center. The store opened early and there were some light morning pastries and refreshments for everyone. There was a brief group session and Mommy and Daddy were sent on their way with a zappy thing. Daddy really enjoyed zapping everything while Mommy concentrated really hard on the things they should select.
I have heard many proposal stories working in the business I do. It is a talking point I go over with clients while I crunch numbers in front of them to keep them engaged. When I proposed to my now wife (she said yes!), I knew I was going to do something different.
Months prior at opening day for the Tigers in Detroit, Michigan, I was given a towel by the Detroit Free Press as a giveaway. The message they were trying to sell to new readers was that it was “time to engage”. I am sure they meant reading the paper and getting into current events but I saw a golden moment as the large text on the towel was time to engage. I kept the towel for seven months!
