Our Comments on Foodie Registry Lunch Question ~ Wedding in Four Months!

Time for installation #19 of Foodie Registry’s “LunchDate” blog feature, where they ask a distinguished panel of wedding experts from across the country the same wedding related question and serve up the answers for our readers in one delicious post.

You should have a wedding planner.  Really, you should.  The reason is because no one besides your planner tells you what sort of things you want to make sure you have done when during your wedding planning.

CJ & Dr. Tim ~ Happy New Year!

Hey all!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!  We both hope that everyone had a wonderful New Years!  Believe it or not, waking up on New Year’s Day was really quite a crazy moment…we literally looked at each other and said – “This is the year!!!” – it now all seems so real.  There is a date in the future that seems not so distant and it’s really crazy to think that it will probably be here before we know it!

TIP TUESDAY: Be Early for Your Spa Appointment

My husband gifted me a treatment of my choice at the G Spa in the MGM Grand in Connecticut.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE going to the spa!  There is nothing I do not like about pedicures or massages or facials.  And the G Spa has these amazing locker rooms.

From the Editor: Top 10 Thankful Moments in 2011

2011 was another banner year for me – both professionally and personally!  Here is what I am most thankful for this year.

10)  Losing and finding my cell phone twice in one week!  SHEESH!  Sometimes I am so blonde!  ;-)

9)  Travel.  I love to travel and while I have been around the world, there are always places I have not been – yet!  Thanks to TraveLin for hosting me on The Big Island of Hawaii and Teresa for sending me to Mazatlan.  Looking forward to more fabulous travels in the future!

TIP TUESDAY: Not on the timeline? Not gonna happen!

You have planned for your wedding for a lifetime… or at least for the entire time of your engagement!  You have planned everything thing down to the minute, if not the moment.  What happens when your crazy uncle wants to get up to give a toast?  Or your funny neighbor wants to sing with the band?  Or the drunk aunt requests the duck dance?

IN THEORY: Make Travel Easy

I come from an international family – my Dad is an American, my Mother is a German (off the boat actually… really!), my sister was born in Canada and I was born in South West Africa, now Namibia.  I had my first international flight at six months old – Windhoek to Frankfurt!  And we have continued to travel extensively throughout the years.
