TIP TUESDAY: First Look of Ballroom

You have spend a year (more or less) designing your perfect wedding day ~ from gown to venue to food to so so so much more! Don’t you want to see the fruits of your labor?

Yes, we know that you will be in the room later but that does not mean you will see it! Ask a friend that has been recently married… you are so involved with guests and toasts and eating that you really do not have a chance to take in the entire decor!

Our suggestion? Right before the venue chimes for your guests to move from cocktails to dinner, have your wedding planner come ask you if you would like to go see the room. Nine times out of ten, the couple wants to check it out. Ten percent decline because they are having so much fun! Either way, you have an option.

Then go over, just the two of you (with photographer in tow) and be stunned by how everything looks! Be wowed by your gorgeous wedding cake and enjoy the glow of the candlelight. Smile at your new spouse and take a practice swing around the dance floor!

Just as we suggest you should take a moment to do a Yichud, this is another opportunity to share a private moment that should not be missed!!!
