Happy Hour: Boozy Tea Time

Happy FOOD FRIDAY and TGIF to our readers and writers!!! Isn’t it happy hour somewhere? Well… let’s get started! Vodka is on the menu today But not just any vodka. This one: Belvedere Lemon Tea!

Why do we like this particular flavor? Yes… there are lots of fun flavors out there but do you really want to drink cupcake flavored drinks all afternoon in the warm summer heat? Not us!

This is refreshing and unusual with a combination of black and green teas, lemon grass, chamomile, ginger, honey and lemon.

Editor is a fan of bubbles (both of the alcohol and non-alcoholic kind) so I like my Belvedere Lemon Tea with a topper of club soda and a lemon. If you want to add more flavor, Belvedere suggests mixing the vodka with a chilled tea of your choice, a bit of lemon juice and some simple syrup.

Any way you take it, we think this could count for afternoon tea, right? Biscuits anyone?
