Cynics Corner: Hating Dating

Dating can be a pain in the ass. Sometimes it’s more trouble than it’s worth. And that’s why sometimes I avoid it.

I did date this girl, a while back, who would give me sh*t whenever I avoided talking about a topic I didn’t want to discuss with her. Things like her best friend cheating on her husband, my parents’ divorce and the Opening Ceremonies of the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing.

I don’t think that absolute avoidance is a healthy way to live, but had I avoided dating back then, I would have avoided an entire summer of that girl giving me sh*t.
