Cynics Corner: When A F*ck Up Means Something

Here’s the thing… When a friend of ours, even a real good friend of ours, f*cks up, we’re annoyed, but we quickly forgive that person.  However, when a love interest – someone we’re dating or in a relationship with – f*cks up, it becomes so much more.

It’s not just a f*ck up then.  It’s a f*ck up that means something when really, it’s just a f*ck up.  And that’s not fair.

Relationships leave no room for f*cking up.  Perhaps that’s why people say you ought to be friends with your lover first.  Then again, a relationship is a surefire way to f*ck up a friendship.
