We hope you enjoyed our wedding crasher adventure series this week! We have shared all the details on entertainment, food, venue and how we got “invited“. Today, our final thoughts on the experience.
Hubby and I had a BLAST!!! And a big part of that was having no skin in the game. What do I mean by that? As a wedding planner, when I am working, I am always watching and analyzing and timing every little detail and it is hard work. As a guest, you know the behind the scenes drama of your friends and family. As a wedding crasher, we just enjoyed watching everything unfold and we were able to be really in the moment.
And some of our favorite moments? The toasts by the best man – brother of the groom – who is hearing impaired was heartfelt. The two maids of honor did a tag team toast that made us laugh and made us cry!
For the father-daughter dance, the bride surprised her dad, who was her coach growing up, with a baseball cap and a fun dance instead of the usual. Everyone enjoyed it! Although FOB was a little surprised!
CONGRATS to Lisa and Dennis! Mazel tov!
