From the Editor: What does sexy look like?

Dear theBrideScoop.com Readers ~

I hope you enjoyed our adventure into all things SEX today.  I know we had a great time creating a special day for you!  A HUGE thank you to all our writers ~ AMAZING!  Even I learned something new!!!

What does sexy look like?  For me, it is Sting and his stunningly beautiful AND accomplished-in-her-own-right movie director/actress companion and wife of 30+ years Trudie Styler.  Earlier this year, they were featured in Harper’s Bazaar and they talked about how they keep their love alive after so many years and posed for some sexy photos.

Sting said, “We treat every day as it comes.  Relationships aren’t easy and I don’t think they’re particularly natural but we’re lucky because we actually like each other.  We love each other – that’s a given – but Trudie lights my world up when she comes into a room.  I don’t take her for granted.”  He also talked about his love of things “tawdry” and how time apart heats up their sex life.

“When we see each other, it’s romance,” he said.  “I don’t think pedestrian sex is very interesting.  There’s a playfulness we have.  I like the theater of sex.  I like to look good.  I like her to dress up.  And I like to dress her up.”

I think the take away from this is:  Yes, you fell in love with a wonderful person.   But no, without effort, even a great relationship cannot maintain itself.  You have to admire the other person – for both brains and booty!  And you have to continuously share with them that admiration and receive it in return to make a relationship work over the decades.
