Twitter Wedding in Turkey

You know it was only time until someone came up with the “brilliant” idea of saying “I do” via twitter to seal their wedding vows.  Did your heart just go, “On no!” or “Fabulous!!!”?

The groom, Cengizhan Celik, is a social media editor for the news website Ensonhaber.com, so it almost makes sense that twitter would serve as his best man.  The bride, Candan Canik, does not seem to share the same enthusiasm for the service, considering her vow was her first tweet.

Do you think a twitter wedding is a great way to incorporate others into your wedding?

Mazel tov!
