MARRIED MONDAY: Magnificence of Marriage for All

Same-sex marriage once sounded radical – and to some ears, it still does.
But it rests on durable conservative notions:
fostering enduring commitments and stable families,
safeguarding the interests of children,
respecting the personal freedom of individuals and
keeping the state out of intimate matters.
It’s not an attack on marriage
but an affirmation of the magnificence of marriage.

Times change. People’s social views change (remember when African Americans were considered chattel and women could not vote).

At theBrideScoop, we refer to same-sex marriage as marriage equality. Everyone should have the right to be with the one they love in all the ways afforded a man and a woman!

Change is hard and there will be people who will not agree with this editorial but we could not agree more!!!
